I love my family to death, but I wish they weren’t so focused on eating when we all get together. We went to a pho place and the entire menu was limited to bowls of fatty broth, red meat, and white rice noodles. Eek.
Pho is really good for hangovers, but no so much for this dieting gal! I got a small bowl and I sort of, kind of ate the entire thing. By that, I mean I definitely ate the entire thing. Woops.
But I’m not going to beat myself over it. I hardly ever sway from my meal plans and I made sure to exercise a lot today. My cousin is picking me up in a bit to go to the gym - hopefully I can get a bit more cardio in and start swimming laps. It’s summer. It’s hot. There’s a pool in my gym. I’m not gonna ignore these facts.
Don’t freak out if you eat something that wasn’t exactly the healthiest option.
